Creative Recycling: Purse Made Of Pop Tabs From Cans

To make this purse we need:
- 210 red pop tabs
- 6 golden pop tabs
- lacer
- thick black wire
- black thread
- needle
- scissors
- lining and zipper
- another black lining for the bottom of the purse
- a piece of plasticized material (the bottom of an old bag)

Out of 6 pop tabs we make a flower:
- place two pop tabs over each other
- with the lacer and the black wire ball we start crocheting
- continue until you connect the 6 pop tabs
- during crocheting the pop tabs tend to take the form of a “flower”

Next we make the 36 “flowers”. Each strand joins (including the first “flower” to the last “flower”) resulting in a round. The bottom of the bag is made of hard material wrapped in black lining (you glue the hard material and the black lining). After it has dried you sew the bottom of the bag.

The zipper is sewn to the lining which is inside the bag.

And now no one will even realize the purse is made from pop tabs. Beautiful, right? :)
